The Community Organizing Citizen Circle has formed as part of the Winter 2012 of Hub DC Citizen Circles.

For active community organizers, a peer-organized workshop to explore together readings, techniques and resources for effective community mobilization and engagement, we plan to explore:

• Anti-oppression
• History of Social Movements
• Social Movement Theory
• Relationships
• Practical Applications
• Arts and Social Justice

If you are interested in this Citizen Circle, come to our first meeting on February 22th, 2012 at 7pm at 1850 M St NW in Washington DC.
